Die Erfolgsstory der Festplattensparte von Samsung liest sich inzwischen wie ein spannender Fortsetzungsroman, wobei die Hauptakteure durchaus nicht fiktiv sind, sondern reale Konturen besitzen. Mit der F1 wurde im Frühjahr 2008 der Grundstein gelegt, ein Jahr später folgte die F2 und seit kurzem ist die F3 lieferbar, zumindest in der 500GB Version, weitere Varianten werden sicherlich folgen, die 1TB Version ist bereits gelistet
Techspot hat sich ausführlich mit der Performance diverser Grafikkarten in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 getestet. Hierbei wurde sowohl die Low, Medium und High-Quality Einstellungen bei Auflösungen von 1680×1050, 1920×200 und 2560×1600 getestet. Allerdings jeweils mit 2x AA und 2x AF.

Pro Clockers hat einen Test zum Gigabyte H55M-S2H mATX Board mit Intel H55 Chipsatz für den Sockel 1156 veröffentlicht.

Wie PcT berichtet ermöglicht UCC bei den neuen AMD 800 Boards von ASRock das Freischalten von CPU-Kernen. Eigentlich ist dies bei den 800er Boards nicht mehr möglich, da AMD auf ACC Unterstützung verzichtet hat.

Hexus hat einen Test zum Intel Core i7 930 veröffentlicht. Im Gegensatz zum Core i7 920, der bisher kleinsten Sockel 1366 CPU, taktet die CPU mit 2.8 GHz anstelle von 2.67.

vortez hat einen Test zum ASUS M4A89GTD Pro/USB3 veröffentlicht. Das Board basiert auf dem neuen AMD 890GX/SB850 Chipsatzgespann. Es bietet unter anderem USB 3 und SATA 3.

Motherboards hat einen Test zur XFX Radeon HD 5830 veröffentlicht. Bei der Karte greift XFX auf den gleichen Kühler zurück den man bei der Radeon HD 5700 Serie oder einigen HD 4800 Karten benutzt.
AMD has been firing on all cylinders lately. Their release last year of the RADEON HD 5870 and 5850 cards is still the only DirectX11 compliant video cards with the rest of the Evergreen family on the market today with the competition sidelined until March. AMD has subsequently introduced the HD 5770, the HD 5750, the HD 5650 and the HD 5450.

Zur Cebit hat AMD den neuen 890GX Chipsatz zusammen mit der SB850 vorgestellt. Wie PcTreiber ausführt, ist der890GX Chipsatz aber keine wirkliche Neuerung. Hierbei handelt es sich eher um einen übertakteten 785G Chipsatz. Neu ist dafür die Southbridge, Diese bietet unter andrem SATA3, einen integrierten GB-Lan MAC, PCI und zwei PCIe Lanes.
Legionhardware haben einen Test zum neuen ASRock P55 Deluxe3 veröffentlicht. Das Board setzt auf den P55 Chipsatz und bietet sowohl SATA 3 als auch USB 3. Dank der ASRock “True 333″ Technologie soll die Anbindung von SATA 3 und USB 3 nicht unter den Problemen des P55 Chipsatz leiden.
