In due time we reviewed the original MSI 785GM-E65 motherboard that was as feature-rich as any full-size solution could be, including overclocking and other enthusiast functionality. The demand for that solution, expensive in terms of microATX motherboards, was probably good, so when AMD rolled out its 890GX chipset, even more interesting for demanding users, MSI didn’t hesitate to make a newer product.

Hardwarecanucks hat einen Test zum M4A785TD-V EVO und M4A785TD-M EVO veröffentlicht. Bei beiden Boards handelt es sich um Sockel AM3 Modelle mit AMDs neuem 785G Chipsatz zusammen mit der SB 710. Beim M4A785TD-V EVO handelt es sich um eine Full ATX Platine mit zwei PEG Ports wobei der zweite mit nur 4 PCIe Lanes angebunden ist, während das M4A785TD-M EVO eine “eifnache” mATX Platine ist.
